IPAF M4M

This course is aimed at employers, project managers and supervisors working in a broad range of industries such as construction, facilities management, retail, airports and arboriculture. It is not about operating the equipment but the planning, supervising and managing – i.e. anyone who is responsible for overseeing the use of MEWPs on their job site when working at height.

The course covers crucial health and safety procedures, best practices and key steps to take when supervising MEWPs and MEWP operators. Once complete, the candidate will receive the MEWP for Managers qualification and an IPAF Certificate of Training.

At the end of the course the candidate will have knowledge of:

• The relevant health and safety regulations
• Accident prevention and control
• The needs regarding personnel protection
• The need to refer to the machine operating manual
• The need for familiarisations

The eLearning version of the IPAF MEWPs for Managers course enables candidates to undertake the tuition in convenient sections and pass the online course at a time and place of their choosing, on compatible PCs and tablet devices. It utilises sophisticated facial recognition across the online training and evaluation session to ensure the candidate’s identity and to prevent any attempt to obtain the qualification through fraudulent means.
